We had been in contact with a few realtors before Nelvia but never signed anything concrete. We wanted to make sure that we had a great experience selling our home. I was referred to Nelvia from a coworker. I was skeptical at first because of our past experiences but from the first meeting we had with Nelvia I knew she was the one we wanted to help us sell our home. Nelvia was always kind and patient. She was very attentive to us and our needs. At times I would text her and she would text back if she was unable to speak at that moment she would immediately set up a time for us to chat. Throughout the whole ordeal I felt she had our best interest in mind. We had some work needed on the house and she knew all the right people to help us get the house appealing for sale. When we received our multiple offers she did not pressure us at all into settling. We had a certain price in mind we felt our house was worth and she made sure we got close to that. She negotiated a great contract with our buyers. I am overall pleased by her professionalism, timeliness,honesty, and most of all her kindness. Nelvia truly cares for her clients and it shows from beginning to middle to end of the process. I recommend her whole heartedly to anyone interested in buying or selling a home. She is wonderful and a grade A realtor.

Nelvia came highly recommended by a family member who had previously worked with Costello Real Estate & Investments. Needless to say she did not disappoint! Nelvia went above and beyond to help my family move from Virginia to North Carolina in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. She spent a lot of time sending us properties that met our specifications and even took the time to do video walkthroughs of any properties we liked in order to save us having to drive 5 hours each time. AMAZING?! What more can I say? When you use Nelvia, you feel like YOU are her only client. Her follow up, follow through, concern, and looking out for your best interest is what makes Nelvia the best. She keeps close communication with mortgage company to ensure everything is following the time line and certainly holds you accountable for submitting documents on time and meeting deadlines. Just shows that she wants the purchase or sell to be successful and doesn't want her clients to miss out on their opportunity. Nelvia works non-stop and gets the job done. Despite that consistent success as a rising star and top producer, Nelvia’s greatest work has been motherhood. Her family is her why. Husband, Todd, their children, Madison and Maxwell, as well as fur baby, Sasha Fierce, are the reasons she works so hard. 

Nelvia channels free time and energy volunteering with philanthropic organizations that support families, education, and the well-being of communities. Several years ago while serving as a board member for buildON, a nonprofit that constructs new schools in some of the world’s most economical poor countries, she recruited her husband for a special mission project. Together, they raised the funds necessary to build a primary school in a remote Nicaraguan village. The couple traveled there, and, for two weeks, they rolled up their sleeves to help build. 

It was an experience that left her with gratitude, an appreciation for the bigger picture, and the drive to be a better human for all.
