We started the process of hunting for a home about 8 months ago from a remote location. We needed a realtor who could be our eyes and ears on the local market; do walkthroughs and provide opinions regarding value, quality and fit of the properties we were considering. They went above and beyond at every turn. Sometimes it felt as it we were their most important clients as they'd jump to help review any and all requests immediately. Beyond the hunting process, the advice during the offer/acceptance/close was also excellent and her referrals for other professionals we'll need are so appreciated. Roxanne Corff Local Guide • 22 reviews • 2 photos starstarstarstarstar 20 weeks ago I feel very motivated to share with you my wonderful experience in both buying a home on Bainbridge Island - and subsequently selling an apartment building in Seattle,( in which we happened to also live previously) through the agency of Carii Clawson and her husband Tom. First, you should know we actually tried to work with other real estate agents. Those agents took us to see many properties we were not very excited about, and we wound up losing $10,000 in earnest money on one house we bid for. Long story. So, we looked for another agent - and found Carii!! Thank goodness. We were immediately impressed with how well she listened to us, and she really "got" us. Our anxieties were pretty high after our previous debacle with the other agent, and she was very forthright, and could explain things in ways I could understand them. I loved her process, and watched her working her magic on our behalf. We bought our house on Bainbridge, and I could not be happier. Then, we were trying to sell our apartment building in Seattle with an agent who would send me an email with the express purpose of asking how we were feeling? with no business other than that, but we did not experience the transparency we did with Carii in that "email" approach. I found myself longing for Carii's intelligence and communication skills. So, we asked Carii if she would also work in Seattle and help us sell our apartment building there. She did! And in no time flat she had a bidding war going for three buyers, for cash, and we sold it "as is". We could not have been happier. In summary, my husband and I love and trust Carii to manage any real estate action we engage in, and I cannot tell you how strongly I feel she is the best person to represent you in this process of buying - or selling a house or building!
