I typically never leave reviews whether positive or negative unless my experience has been extraordinary in either direction. With Kristine, I am pleased to say that my experience was extraordinarily positive. She went above and beyond as a realtor to help my family and I find a residence in the Kailua Kona market. She is extremely knowledgeable of market trends, market valuations, as well Hawaii real estate procedures. Most importantly I felt that I could trust her knowing that she had my best interest in mind. Given that I was located on the East Coast, Kristine made sure I stayed updated with the Kona market by completing the following: 1. sending me a list of recommended properties which met my purchase criteria, 2. sending me information on new listings as soon as it became available, 3. taking video showings of properties for which I had interest in but could not physically tour, and 4. periodically having calls with me to discuss desired and upcoming listing. Furthermore, Kristine was able to recommend multiple contacts, which could assist in securing the financing for this transaction. Finally, she helped me strategies and negotiate the purchase of the desired property. She diligently took the time to explain Hawaii’s onerous offer to purchase contract, my responsibilities, the seller’s responsibilities, as well as the expectations after the property is under contract. She secured the services of a building inspector, termite inspector, and title company. She did a permit search with county to ensure the property in question is not encumbered by unfinished work. She worked diligently with my lender to ensure all necessary requirement were fulfilled. She constantly communicated with me, my lender, the title company, as well as the sellers on the progress of the transaction. At no point did I feel uncertain of what was going, even though I was separated by 5 time zones and 4,600 miles. After three days of visiting the island, my husband and I decided to move to Kona with our two dogs. We love the island, the diversity, ocean sports and year round golf.
